In the last decade, smartphones have come a long way. The iPhone7 that was launched in 2007 and it was followed by the launch of android phones in the next two years but, those smartphones weren’t up to the mark or it can be said that they weren’t smart enough to be a smartphone! Over time, the most exciting phone in the US in 2010 was Apple iPhone 3G S, it had many amazing features. The evolution was epic in terms of technology, but what about the future of smartphones? What tech advances it holds? How can smartphones completely change in the upcoming years?
Here, we viewed at a few trends of 2010 and before and figured out where the smartphone evolution will reach by the year 2030. Everything from foldable phones to USG and 6G, we have mentioned it all. But, don’t complain if you see this after 10 years as the evolution of the smartphone can turn out wider than we expected. However, smartphones will naturally evolve and this is how it will go as per our guess!
In the year 2019, foldable phones caught the eyes of tech geeks; it was introduced by Samsung Galaxy Fold and Motorola Razr, however, they were not that captivating due to the less availability. But it is believed, by 2029, we all could own a foldable phone! But yes, after all, it depends on the phone companies how they will turn in the upcoming future. Meanwhile, they are considered grunt because of the price range and lack of software development though many mobile app development companies are working aggressively for the upcoming foldable phones.
In 2020, many phones are getting off the 3.5mm headphone jack ,and maybe by 2030, it will be considered history. This is because people prefer wireless or advanced Bluetooth headphones over wired ones and the technology will keep rising with time and this is why it might be surprising to see people using wired headphones at all! On the other hand, the wireless charging devices are the talk to the town these days ,and after 10 years port less smartphones would not be surprising at all!
You might be confused after reading this the smartphones these days already have plenty of cameras, if you are expecting to have more added in future, the scenario after 10 years might be opposite. The real change will be an increase in megapixel count. By the end of 2019, the highest resolution in a smartphone was noted 180-megapixel count. And in 2020, it feels like many phones are going to ace the race of 180MP count. By 2030, the megapixel count might reach sky high. It is assumed that the phone companies are looking forwarding to take the megapixel count to 576(which can be roughly seen by human eye)
This is a glimpse of what you might get in 2030, it could bring a lot more and that would not be surprising after seeing the evolution of smartphone from 2010 to 2020, let’s see what the future holds!
